Getting there
I had another midwife apt. today, along with a u/s to try to determine size of baby and how much fluid he/she is swimming in. I am measuring a bit ahead so she just wanted an idea of what we could be dealing with. Everything looks fine, baby is measuring around 6lbs at this point, give or take. She expects a similar birth weight to Eli, which was 7lbs 12oz. Apparantly the baby is sunny side up, which doesn't really work for me so I am going to try to figure out a way to coax the kid to flip around the other way. Could explain my miserable tailbone pain, again confirms it is a girl, at least in my mind. She did check me and I am starting to dilate. Yea!! 1+ and 50% effaced at a -3 station. Bring it on! She anticipates around 38 weeks, but no one can know for sure. Now if we could just figure out some name possibilities for this peanut..

That's great news, that your body is already working on stuff, that is. I hope, for your sake, that the baby really does come around 38 weeks. Early=awesome in my vocabulary!
Way to get things going:) Funny that the little peanut is already a pain in the Butt;)I say kick he/she out early!! I don't know how to flip a kid sorry
So happy to hear things are in motion. S/he will be here before you know it. M or F, the baby will be so lucky to join your family! Did your midwife have any suggestions on how to turn him/her? I'll ask some of my midwife friends...
