The Very first time..

in over a year that I have woken up in a house without my children. Can you believe it? Papa and Grandma volunteered to keep BOTH boys overnight.. Wow.. Eli has had many sleepovers, but this was Asher's very first one. He is getting so big, it is going to fast. He is walking like crazy, which leads to many bumps and bruises, and a bit of excessive whining, but he is so cute that he gets away with it. He is getting more and more teeth and jabbering away. He seems to be grasping more and more signs which is fun, and very helpful. He and Eli entertain each other very nicely, it is fun to see how similar and different their personalities are. Like when they get frustrated they both start whining, or throw stuff down. Asher seems much more personable than Eli did at this age. Eli was very much a mama's boy, and Asher loves his Daddy and seems comfortable going to anyone he recognizes. Brian has been pushing me to get his 1st hair cut, but I have been very resistant. I don't think he really needs one, it is a bit long over his ears but that is about it. So only about one month to go until school starts up. 1st grade=all day school, as well as 3 recesses and lunch. I think Eli will be happy to go back, but does say that he doesn't want summer to end. We will be heading down to Ohio to hit Cedar Point in a few weeks, very exciting because last year we went but I couldn't ride any rides cuz I was with child. So that about sums it up for now.. Oh, we went and saw Bourne Ultimatum last night, which was pretty good, but they did the shaky camera thing that really gets on my nerves, and a little nauseating..
