Finally!!

So after many weeks of living out of bags and mooching off of my in-laws.. Which was very nice of them and always enjoyable for us, we are finally in our house. Yes that is right, we did end up getting the house we didn't think we would get, but ended up getting. It is lovely.. 5 bedrooms, 3 up and 2 down in the finished basement. A fenced in back yard for the dog, who tried to make a run for it when the movers were unloading our stuff. That would have been ugly. 3 bathrooms to clean, and a 2 car garage, with and extra wide driveway for lots of kid fun. It is on a very short road, that actually only has 3 houses on it, so virturally no traffic. This has been a long time coming and we are so excited about this house, we will be here for a very long time, if I can help it at least. Brian has been enjoying the new job 100 times better than the last, so far. Eli transitioned well into the new school, his class has about 6 less kids and goes about 45 minutes longer, always a good thing. He got his first birthday invite, so I think all is right with the world. Asher is 5 months old already, and is doing well. He hasn't mastered the rolling over yet, but working hard at it. Seems as though he is growing some hair, but hard to tell since it is so light. He is a happy baby, and for that I am very thankful. That is a condensed version of life right now. We still have some boxes to unpack and lots of things to hang. I will post some pictures when I have more time. Until then. Happy New Year!!
