Back to the Midwest
Well we have been busy this week. Brian's Mom and Dad were here for a visit, which was very enjoyable and busy. Eli started school and of course loves it and is patiently waiting his turn to to be the class helper. Today we went to the MN Zoo. I really enjoyed spending the day with my son today. I always enjoy him, but today for some reason it was so much more than just taking my kid to the zoo. We were both so excited to see all the animals and the different habitats and reading about them. It was surreal. One of those experiences that I will reflect upon as he gets older and spends less and less time with his mom. But right now he is running around the house crashing a plane into me or attacking me as a lion. But I will always have the "Zoo".
